Kyle Busch wins Sprint race in Tennessee

BRISTOL, Tenn., March 22 (UPI) -- Kyle Busch led 378 of 503 laps Sunday and easily won the Food City 500 Sprint Cup auto race at the Bristol (Tenn.) Motor Speedway.

It was his second Sprint Cup Series victory this season and 14th of his career.

Busch turned back a determined effort by Joe Gibbs Racing teammate Denny Hamlin, and with brother, Kurt, the Buschs have won the last three Sprint Cup races.

"There's a little bit of redemption here," Kyle Busch told reporters. "This place owes me a few, but you can never ask a race track to pay you back. You just got to go out there and keep working at it, and keep trying to do what you know how to do, and that's to win races."

On Saturday, he led 156 of the first 254 laps at the Scotts Turf Builder 300 Nationwide race before a tire bounced off the inside wall and rolled away from his stall during his last pit stop.
