COL BKB: Oklahoma 73, Michigan 63

KANSAS CITY, Mo., March 21 (UPI) -- Blake Griffin had 33 points and 17 rebounds Saturday to lead second-seeded Oklahoma to a 73-63 victory over Michigan in NCAA South Region.

Willie Warren added 16 points and Austin Johnson 12 for the Sooners (29-5), who advanced to the Sweet 16 for a game Friday in Memphis against the winner of Sunday's game between Arizona State and Syracuse.

DeShawn Sims and Anthony Wright both scored 14 points to lead the 10th-seeded Wolverines (21-14), who were in the tournament for the first time since 1998.
