Report: Eddy Curry's son returned

CHICAGO, March 20 (UPI) -- NBA player Eddy Curry has been reunited with his 3-year-old son, Noah, the Chicago Sun-Times reported.

The boy's grandmother, Yolan Henry, returned him to Curry late Thursday, about seven hours after a Cook County (Ill.) judge issued a custody order.

Noah has been living with Henry since his mother, Nova Henry, 24, and his 10-month-old sister, Ava, were found shot to death Jan. 24 at their home in Chicago.

Curry, a standout at the city's Thornwood High School and former Chicago Bull, plays for the New York Knicks.

Last week, his son's court-appointed representative, Lester Barclay, asked the court to turn the boy over to Curry immediately, citing a November agreement that included Nova Henry's wish that if she were to die, Curry would take custody of the boy.

"You'd be turning him over to strangers," Michael Kalcheim, Yolan Henry's attorney, told the newspaper after a recent custody hearing.

Kalcheim claimed Curry had seen Noah only twice in the last 40 months.
