NEW ORLEANS, March 20 (UPI) -- Chris Paul produced an all-around game with 32 points, nine assists and five steals Friday, carrying the New Orleans Hornets to a 96-84 victory over Memphis.
The Hornets trailed Memphis by a point going into the fourth quarter, but a 23-5 run lifted New Orleans to its second straight win following back-to-back losses.
David West scored 29 points for New Orleans, which played its ninth straight game without Peja Stojakovic (back spasms).
Rudy Gay had 23 points for Memphis, which has lost 15 of its last 17 games. The Grizzlies fell to 5-28 on the road this season.
