INDIANAPOLIS, March 20 (UPI) -- Dirk Nowitzki's jumper with 1.1 seconds left Friday boosted the Dallas Mavericks to a 94-92 victory against the Indiana Pacers.

Nowitzki, an eight-time all-star forward, capped a 23-point, seven-rebound performance by canning an 18-footer that snapped a 92-92 tie and helped Dallas complete a rally from an 89-87 deficit with 1:45 left. His jump shot at that point set the stage for his dramatic game-winner.

Jason Terry had 17 points, four assists and three steals. Jason Kidd had 10 points, nine rebounds and five assists and James Singleton scored 10 with 11 rebounds for the Mavericks, who had lost three of four.

Danny Granger paced Indiana with 18 points and 11 rebounds. Troy Murphy scored 14 with 11 rebounds, while both Brandon Rush and T.J. Ford scored 11 points in the Pacers' fifth loss in a row.

Indiana has lost seven of its last eight meetings with Dallas.
