Tommie Harris' wife dies

COLUMBUS, Ohio, March 18 (UPI) -- A goal by Antoine Vermette with 2:22 left in overtime Wednesday boosted Columbus to a 4-3 win over Chicago.
The Blue Jackets have won five of their last six to move into sixth place in the Western Conference standings.
R.J. Umberger, Derek Dorsett and Rick Nash scored regulation goals for Columbus and Steve Mason made 24 saves to pick up his 29th win in this, his rookie season.
Although Chicago lost for the sixth time in seven games, the point it picked up Wednesday moved the Blackhawks one point in front of Vancouver for fourth place in the West.
Cristobal Huet gave up four goals on 28 shots to take the loss.
The outcome left the season series tied at 2-2.
