SAN ANTONIO, March 17 (UPI) -- Tony Parker scored 24 points Tuesday, helping the San Antonio Spurs to a 93-86 victory over the Minnesota Timberwolves.

Kurt Thomas added 10 points, 10 rebounds and six assists for the Spurs, who have won nine straight against Minnesota. Roger Mason had 15 points.

The Southwest Division-leading Spurs held out All-Star forward Tim Duncan against Minnesota. A right quad injury forced Duncan to miss three games in February.
