CHARLOTTE, N.C., March 18 (UPI) -- Gerald Wallace returned from a brief second-quarter absence Wednesday to score 25 points and send Charlotte sailing to a 104-88 victory over Sacramento.

Sacramento has played 28 games against teams from the Eastern Conference this season and lost every one of them.

Wallace suffered a bump on his right knee in the second period and went to the locker room for a brief examination. Although Wallace came back in the game, team officials said he would have further tests done Thursday.

Emeka Okafor added 16 points and 10 rebounds in helping the Bobcats win their second straight.

Sacramento, winners of a league-low 14 games this season, has lost five in a row. Only four of those victories have come on the road. The Kings were led by Rashad McCants, who scored 30 points and was 5-of-8 from 3-point range.
