NHL: Ottawa 4, Buffalo 2

OTTAWA, March 17 (UPI) -- Brendan Bell scored two of three Ottawa power-play goals Tuesday to key the Senators' 4-2 victory over the Buffalo Sabres.

Daniel Alfredsson had a goal and an assist, and Dany Heatley also scored for Ottawa, which has won six of its last seven games. Filip Kuba had three assists,

Brian Elliott stopped 11-of-13 shots for Ottawa.

Jason Pominville had a goal and an assist, and Toni Lydman also scored for the Sabres, who have lost six straight.

Mikael Tellqvist allowed four goals on 36 shots for Buffalo, which hasn't won on the road since Feb. 17.
