LOS ANGELES, March 16 (UPI) -- Steve Novak's 3-pointer at the buzzer Sunday night gave the Los Angeles Clippers a 107-105 win over New Jersey to halt a seven-game losing streak.

Novak led LA with 21 points. Al Thornton and Baron Davis scored 20 points apiece, Eric Gordon had 17 and Chris Kaman finished with 10 points and eight rebounds for the Clippers.

Vince Carter led the Nets with a season-high 41 points to go with seven rebounds and six assists. Devin Harris had 13 points but he had to leave the game due to a shoulder sprain in the third quarter. Brook Lopez scored 14 for New Jersey, which lost for the fifth time in its last six games.

The Clippers led 100-89 with just over 5 ½ minutes to play following a Kaman basket but the Nets closed the gap on back-to-back 3-pointers by Jarvis Hayes, and then tied it at 100-100 after a 3-pointer and a pair of free throws by Carter.

Leading 105-102 with 12.7 seconds remaining, the Nets fouled Davis, who connected on two free throws. After Hayes missed two free throws, Davis found Novak open and Novak hit the game-winning shot.
