Tommie Harris' wife dies

COLUMBUS, Ohio, March 15 (UPI) -- Chris Osgood blocked 23 shots for Detroit Sunday, posting his second shutout of the season in a 4-0 Red Wings victory over the Columbus Blue Jackets.
Marian Hossa, Niklas Kronwall, Mikael Samuelsson and Johan Franzen scored for Detroit, which reached the 100-point mark in the standings for the ninth straight year.
The Red Wings have the best record in the NHL, two points ahead of Boston, a 6-4 loser at Pittsburgh Sunday.
Steve Mason had 26 saves for the Jackets, who had won their previous four games.
