USC beat Arizona State for Pac-10 crown

LOS ANGELES, March 14 (UPI) -- Daniel Hackett scored 19 points Saturday when Southern Cal overcame a 15-point halftime deficit to beat No. 23 Arizona State, 66-63 and win the Pac-10 title.

The Trojans (21-12) won the Pac-10 Tournament for the first time and earned an automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament.

DeMar DeRozan scored 25 points and Dwight Lewis added 13 for the sixth-seeded Trojans, who scored the game's final seven points.

Jeff Pendergraph scored 20 points for the Sun Devils (24-9). Derek Glasser added 16 points, Ty Abbott 12, and James Harden chipped in 10 points and eight assists for Arizona State, which held a 63-59 lead with 1:10 left to play.
