VANCOUVER, British Columbia, March 14 (UPI) -- Henrik Sedin scored twice in a span of 30 seconds in the third period Friday, vaulting the Vancouver Canucks to a 4-2 victory over Los Angeles.

The Canucks won on home ice for the eighth straight time. They have not dropped a game at home since Jan. 31, a setback that established a franchise-record of nine consecutive home losses.

Vancouver took a 2-0 lead after the opening period and it remained that way until the Kings put together a sudden rush to tie it.

Alexander Frolov scored 6:50 into the third and Anze Kopitar produced the tying goal 26 seconds later.

Sedin, however, quickly put a pair of wrist shots past Jonathan Quick to run his goal total this year to 14.

Roberto Luongo made 24 saves to get the win.

Los Angeles had a three-game winning streak snapped. The Kings began a stretch in which they play 12 of their final 16 games on the road.
