TORONTO, March 14 (UPI) -- Mikhail Grabovski's hat trick lifted the Toronto Maple Leafs to a wild 8-6 win over the Calgary Flames Saturday night.
The hat track is Grabovski's first in his third NHL season. He scored once on the power play and once into an empty net.
His heroics negated Olli Jokinen's hat trick and two assists for the Flames. The goals, two on the power play, were Jokinen's 27th, 28th and 29th this season.
Jeff Finger had one goal and two assist and five others scored once each for Toronto.
Alexei Ponikarovsky had four assists, Luke Schenn and Matt Stajan two apiece, while Martin Gerber gave up six goals on 35 shots for the Maple Leafs, who have not lost to Calgary at home since Dec. 16, 2000.
Calgary's Dion Phaneuf and Jarome Iginla both had a goal and two assists, while Flames' goalies Miikka Kiprusoff and Curtis McElhinney gave up seven goals on 30 shots.
