PHILADELPHIA, March 14 (UPI) -- Arron Asham scored twice in the third period Saturday, securing the Philadelphia Flyers' 4-2 win over the New York Rangers.

Philadelphia led 2-1 when Asham's sixth goal this season made it 3-1 at 5:47 of the third. His seventh goal came at 14:33 of the period.

Claude Giroux and Daniel Carcillo assisted on both goals.

Scott Hartnell (25) and Mike Richards (27) also scored once apiece, while netminder Martin Biron stopped 39-of-41 shots for the Flyers, who have won three of their last four games.

Hartnell equaled the career-high he set in the 2005-06 season while with the Nashville Predators.

New York got one goal each from Nik Antropov (23) (unassisted) in the first and Sean Avery (5) in the third.

Goalie Henrik Lundqvist was beaten four times on 25 shots or the Rangers, who had won four of five.
