OAKLAND, Calif., March 14 (UPI) -- Stephen Jackson scored 31 points Friday night and the Golden State Warriors cooled off Dallas with a 119-110 victory.
The Mavericks were coming off back-to-back wins in Phoenix and Portland. After handing the Trail Blazers their first home loss in 13 games, the Mavericks came up empty against a Golden State team that had lost three of its previous four.
Monta Ellis added 29 points and the Warriors made 24-of-31 free throw attempts.
Dirk Nowitzki had 27 points for Dallas and Jason Kidd 21.
The Mavericks had won four of their last five games in Oakland, including a 117-93 decision earlier this season.
