WASHINGTON, March 13 (UPI) -- Mickael Pietrus scored 21 points Friday and helped the Orlando Magic pull away in the final quarter to defeat Washington 112-103.

Washington trailed by only one 3 minutes deep into the fourth period, but Tony Battie made consecutive field goals in a seven-point run that allowed the Magic to take control.

Pietrus made five 3-pointers and Rashard Lewis added 19 points in pushing Orlando to its sixth win in seven games. Dwight Howard had 18 points, 13 rebounds and a career-best seven assists. Battie finished with 13.

Washington, losers of seven out of eight, got 36 points from Antawn Jamison. Both Caron Butler and Andray Blatche left the game with injuries to hamper the Wizards' cause.

Butler suffered a hamstring strain in the first half and Blatche sprained an ankle.

Orlando completed a sweep of the four-game season series.
