MINNEAPOLIS, March 13 (UPI) -- Nate Robinson scored 25 points while starting for Chris Duhon Friday night, to help push New York to its third straight road victory -- 102-94 over Minnesota.
The Knicks have won three in a row on the road for the first time since December 2003.
Duhon missed the game with a sore back and will be held out of action Sunday when New York finishes its five-game road trip in Cleveland.
Robinson added seven assists and six rebounds and Wilson Chandler produced 24 points and a career-high 12 boards for the Knicks.
Al Harrington, Larry Hughes and David Lee all had 12 points.
Minnesota's Ryan Gomes equaled his season high with 28 points.
The Timberwolves twice closed within five in the closing minutes, but New York hit its free throws down the stretch to preserve its advantage.
The Timberwolves had downed the Knicks in six of their previous seven meetings.
