NHL: Tampa Bay 4, Toronto 1

TORONTO, March 12 (UPI) -- Ryan Malone had a goal and an assist Thursday and St. Louis" class="tpstyle">Martin St. Louis delivered the game-winner in the second period, lifting Tampa Bay to a 4-1 win over Toronto.

The Lightning scored four unanswered goals to halt a four-game losing streak. Karri Ramo earned the win with 20 saves.

Toronto's Lee Stempniak scored the only goal of the first period, but Matt Pettinger tied it with a slapshot 5:25 into the second. A wrister from St. Louis got past Martin Gerber with 2:41 to play in the second.

Malone, who assisted on St. Louis' goal, added insurance with 5:25 to go in the third and Paul Szczechura finished the scoring with 2:06 to go.

The goal for St. Louis was his 25th of the season, making six straight seasons he has reached that milestone.
