NHL: Anaheim 4, Vancouver 3 (OT)

ANAHEIM, Calif., March 12 (UPI) -- Scott Niedermayer scored with 1:23 to go in overtime Wednesday, giving Anaheim a 4-3 victory over Vancouver.

The Canucks have lost two in a row on the heels of a four-game winning streak, which had equaled their longest of the season. Vancouver has dropped just four of its last 16 games.

Anaheim let a two-goal lead get away in the second period and then regained the advantage when Petteri Nokelainen scored his first goal of the season.

Ryan Kesler, however, tied it with 4:58 to go in the third, setting up overtime and Niedermayer's wrist shot that beat Roberto Luongo.

Jonas Hiller made 32 saves to get the win. Anaheim avoided what would have been the Ducks' first four-game losing streak since their opening four games of the season.
