ST. LOUIS, March 11 (UPI) -- David Perron scored twice Tuesday and the St. Louis Blues got all the goals they needed in the first period in a 5-2 win over the Dallas Stars.

David Backes, Brad Winchester and Keith Tkachuk (power play) got the other goals for the Blues, who have won five of their last seven games. St. Louis goalie Chris Mason made 20 saves.
