Former NBA player Orlando Woolridge arrested for theft

ORLANDO, Fla., March 11 (UPI) -- Tony Battie led six Orlando players in double figures Wednesday and the Magic clinched a playoff berth by overwhelming Chicago 107-79,
The Magic outscored the Bulls by 20 points in the third period, and followed Boston and Cleveland into the NBA's playoff bracket. Orlando leads second-place Atlanta by 10 1/2 games in the Southeast Division.
Dwight Howard added 15 points for Orlando, Courtney Lee had 14, and both Marcin Gortat and J.J. Redick had 13. Gortat contributed 15 rebounds.
Chicago, which has dropped two in a row, was led by 18 points from John Salmons.
Orlando played without forward Hedo Turkoglu, who rested a sore Achilles tendon. The Bulls made only 31 percent of their attempts from the field.
