MINNEAPOLIS, March 11 (UPI) -- Ryan Gomes scored 25 points Wednesday and Minnesota pulled away in the second half to end a 10-game losing streak with a 104-79 blasting of Memphis.

The Timberwolves won at home for the first tine since Jan. 25.

Kevin Love added 19 points and 11 rebounds, and Mike Miller provided 18 points for Minnesota, which played without second-leading scorer Randy Foye (ankle). The Wolves also are playing the remainder of the season without their top player, Al Jefferson, who is out with a knee injury.

Minnesota scored the game's first 10 points and owned a 21-point lead after one period. The Grizzlies rallied within three in the third, but the Timberwolves turned aside that comeback and carried a 12-point advantage into the final quarter.

O.J. Mayo scored 18 points to lead Memphis, which has lost 11 out of 12.
