PITTSBURGH, March 10 (UPI) -- Kris Letang scored the winning goal in a shootout Tuesday, delivering the Pittsburgh Penguins a 4-3 win over the Florida Panthers.
Evgeni Malkin, Jordan Staal and Sidney Crosby also scored for Pittsburgh, which got back into the Eastern Conference playoff race with its seventh straight victory. Marc-Andre Fleury allowed three goals on 21 shots for the win.
Nick Boynton, Kamil Kreps and Keith Ballard scored for the Panthers. Florida goalie Tomas Vokoun made 47 saves.
