VIRGINIA WATER, England, March 9 (UPI) -- Y.E. Yang, who won his first PGA Tour event this weekend, shot up 313 spots in the world golf rankings Monday to No. 147.

The 37-year-old South Korean won the Honda Classic in his 46th career tournament in the United States. He is only the second Korean to win on the PGA Tour, K.J. Choi being the other.

Other than Yang's phenomenal surge, there was little change from last week among the top-rated players. The first eight were still Tiger Woods followed by Sergio Garcia, Phil Mickelson, Geoff Ogilvy, Padraig Harrington, Vijay Singh, Henrik Stenson and Robert Karlsson.

Kenny Perry climbed one spot to No. 9, dropping Camilo Villegas to 10th. Anthony Kim, Lee Westwood and Paul Casey held onto the next three slots, while Steve Stricker rose one space to 14th and Ernie Els fell one to 15th.

Rounding out the top 20 are Rory McIlroy, Jim Furyk, Stewart Cink, Adam Scott and Mike Weir, just like last week.
