CHICAGO, March 8 (UPI) -- Five Colorado players scored and Peter Budaj blocked 24 Chicago shots in a 5-1 win over the Blackhawks Sunday that ended a six-game Avalanche losing streak.
Milan Hejduk, Ryan Smyth, Ben Guite, Chris Stewart and Marek Svatos registered the Colorado goals.
Jonathan Toews scored for Chicago, which has lost five of its last seven games.
Antti Niemi, who gave up all five Colorado goals, finished with 24 saves for the Blackhawks.
