
OTTAWA, March 7 (UPI) -- Nick Foligno scored his 12th and 13th goals Saturday night to help the Ottawa Senators bag a 6-3 win over the Buffalo Sabres.
Foligno's 12th gave Ottawa a 3-2 lead at 19:28 of the second period and his 13th upped the lead to 5-3 at 15:16 of the third.
Daniel Alfredsson also scored twice, once on the power play. Chris Campoli had a goal and an assist and Chris Kelly scored once.
Both Ryan Shannon and Mike Fisher had two assists, while Brian Elliott was credited with 27 saves on 30 shots in the Senators' second straight victory -- and their fourth in five games against the Sabres this season.
Buffalo's Drew Stafford (power play), Thomas Vanek (power play, unassisted) and Jochen Hecht (power play) all scored once.
Toni Lydman had two assists, and goalie Patrick Lalime was beaten six times on 36 shots for the Sabres, who have lost four of six overall.
