
LOS ANGELES, March 7 (UPI) -- Kyle Quincey had a goal and an assist Saturday to help the Los Angeles Kings record a 4-3 win over the Minnesota Wild.
Quincey scored just his fourth goal this season (unassisted) at 2:26 of the first period, and assisted on Teddy Purcell's third (power play) at 15:11 of the second.
Kyle Calder and Anze Kopitar also scored, while Jonathan Quick made 21 saves on 24 shots in the Kings' second straight victory following four-game losing streak.
Minnesota got one goal apiece from Owen Nolan, Stephane Veilleux and Eric Belanger.
Niklas Backstrom gave up three goals on just 13 shots before being replace by Josh Harding, who stopped 10-of-11 shots in the second and third periods in the Wild's fifth loss in their last six games.
On the power play, Minnesota went 0-for-2 to LA's 1-for-3.
