Tommie Harris' wife dies

LOS ANGELES, March 7 (UPI) -- Josh Shipp had 28 points Saturday to lead 20th-ranked UCLA to a 94-68 win over Oregon that kept the Bruins in the Pac-10 regular-season race, if only briefly.
UCLA (24-7, 13-5 Pac-10) needed unranked Washington State to upset No. 13 Washington to earn a share of its fourth straight conference, but the Washington Huskies beat their in-state rival Cougars 67-60 Saturday to wrap up their first outright Pac-10 title.
Darren Collison had 19 points for UCLA, which closed out its regular season with four straight wins.
Drew Wiley had 18 points and LeKendric Longmire 15 for the Ducks (8-22, 2-16), who lost their final two games of the regular season and finished in last place in the conference.
