COL BKB: Richmond 80, Xavier 75

RICHMOND, Va., March 7 (UPI) -- Kevin Anderson scored 29 points and Justin Harper had 20 Saturday to lead Richmond to an 80-75 upset over 18th-ranked Xavier.

It was only the third victory for the Richmond Spiders (17-14, 9-7 Atlantic 10) in 13 games against Xavier.

B.J. Raymond led the Musketeers (24-6, 12-4) with 17 points and nine rebounds. Derrick Brown added 16 points and seven rebounds.

Xavier had already clinched the No. 1 seed for the conference tournament.
