SAN JOSE, Calif., March 6 (UPI) -- Mikko Koivu finished off a huge comeback by scoring with 14 seconds remaining in overtime Thursday night, giving the Minnesota Wild a 4-3 victory over San Jose.

The Sharks owned a three-goal lead with time running out in the second period, but wound up losing for the fourth time in five games. The Sharks were coming off their first back-to-back regulation losses of the season.

Koivu began Minnesota's rally by scoring on a slapshot with 2:08 left in the second and Pierre-Marc Bouchard brought the Wild within one with just 42 seconds to go in the period.

The tying goal came from Marek Zidlicky midway through the third.

San Jose missed out on an opportunity to regain the points lead in the Western Conference. The Detroit Red Wings have moved one point in front of the Sharks for the top spot.

After giving up three goals in the game's first 29 minutes Niklas Backstrom settled down and got the win by making 32 saves.

Joe Pavelski scored two of San Jose's goals and gave the Sharks' a 3-0 lead with his 20th of the season 9 minutes into the second period. Brian Boucher gave up four goals on 36 shots for San Jose.
