PHILADELPHIA, March 5 (UPI) -- Olli Jokinen made an impressive Calgary debut Thursday, scoring two first-period goals that ignited the Flames to a 5-1 victory over Philadelphia.

Calgary produced four goals in the opening period and went on to win for the sixth time in seven games.

Jokinen came to Calgary from Phoenix prior to the trade deadline. The Coyotes also received a third-round draft pick in 2009 in exchange for two players and a conditional first-round choice.

Mike Cammalleri opened the Calgary scoring with his 34th goal of the season and Miikka Kiprusoff won his NHL-best 39th game by making 35 saves.

Philadelphia lost for the third time in four outings in the opener of a five-game homestand.

Antero Niittymaki was removed from goal after allowing four scores on 19 shots in the first period. It was his first regulation loss since Feb. 12. Martin Biron finished the game by making 21 saves.
