CHICAGO, March 5 (UPI) -- John Salmons helped Chicago overcome a slow start Wednesday and the Bulls pulled away in the second half to down Golden State 110-88.
The Bulls pulled into a tie with Milwaukee for the eighth and final playoff spot in the Eastern Conference. Chicago won at home for the fourth straight time.
Golden State raced to a 20-6 lead, but the Bulls caught up early in the second half and dominated from there. Salmons scored 23 points and Joakim Noah added 14 points and 17 rebounds.
Golden State was led by 19 points from Stephen Jackson and 14 from Corey Maggette. The Bulls went to the foul line 32 times to only 13 for the Warriors, who have lost four out of five.
