NHL: Chicago 3, Anaheim 2 (OT)

CHICAGO, March 4 (UPI) -- Martin Havlat scored 1:40 into overtime Tuesday, handing the Chicago Blackhawks a 3-2 win over the Anaheim Ducks.

The Blackhawks had taken a 2-0 first-period lead on goals by Troy Brouwer and Andrew Ladd. But the Ducks clawed their way back into it with second period goals by Bobby Ryan, his 22nd of the season, and Drew Miller to force the extra session.

Cristobal Huet made 26 saves for Chicago, which is 6-3 in its last nine games.

Anaheim, which concluded its six-game road trip with a is 3-2-1 mark, got 34 saves by Jean-Sebastien Giguere.
