LOUISVILLE, Ky., March 4 (UPI) -- A 27-point performance from Earl Clark Wednesday sent No. 6 Louisville coasting past Seton Hall 95-78.

The Cardinals moved into a tie with top-ranked Connecticut atop the Big East Conference race with one game remaining.

Louisville and Connecticut own a one-game lead over fourth-ranked Pittsburgh, which hosts Connecticut Saturday in their regular-season finale. Louisville will close the campaign at West Virginia.

Clark made 10-of-16 shots from the field and also grabbed 16 rebounds. Terrence Williams and Terrence Jennings both had 14 for the Cardinals (24-5, 15-2 Big East), who have won six games in a row.

Louisville held an 11-point lead at halftime and expanded the advantage to 23 early in the second period.

Robert Mitchell led Seton Hall (15-14, 6-11) with 22 points.
