COL BKB: Michigan State 64, Indiana 59

BLOOMINGTON, Ind., March 3 (UPI) -- Kalin Lucas and Raymar Morgan combined for 29 points Tuesday, helping eighth-ranked Michigan State beat Indiana 64-59.

Lucas tallied 15 points and Morgan 14 to give Michigan State its first Big Ten championship since 2001. Durrell Summers had 10 points for Michigan State (24-5, 14-3 Big Ten), which has won four straight since losing to Purdue on Feb. 17.

The Spartans will host the Boilermakers in the regular-season finale for both teams Sunday.

Verdell Jones led Indiana (6-23, 1-16) with 15 points. The Hoosiers have lost eight straight.
