COL BKB: Duke 84, Florida State 81

DURHAM, N.C., March 3 (UPI) -- Gerald Henderson scored 21 points, nine in the last 2 minutes, Tuesday to lead No. 7 Duke to an 84-81 win over No. 24 Florida State.

Kyle Singler scored 16 of his 20 points in the second half for the Blue Devils (25-5, 11-4 ACC), who close the regular season Sunday against second-ranked North Carolina. Duke is a half-game behind UNC for first place in the ACC standings.

Jon Scheyer added 17 points and Elliot Williams scored 14 for Duke, which has a five-game winning streak.

Duke matched the NCAA record for most wins in a decade. The Blue Devils are 286-83 since the 1999-2000 season.

Toney Douglas had 27 points and seven assists to lead the Seminoles (22-8, 9-6). Uche Echefu added 18 points and 11 rebounds.
