NBA: Dallas 109, Toronto 98

DALLAS, March 2 (UPI) -- Dirk Nowitzki finished with 24 points and 10 rebounds Sunday night to lead the Dallas Mavericks to a 109-98 victory over Toronto.

Josh Howard had 16 points and Antoine Wright scored 15 for the Mavericks, who have nine straight home wins against the Raptors since Toronto last won in Dallas Dec. 20, 1999.

Jason Kidd had nine points and 15 assists -- making him the fourth NBA player ever with more than 10,000 assists. James Singleton pulled down 16 rebounds and scored 12 points for the Mavs.

Chris Bosh had 28 points and 10 rebounds, Andrea Bargnani had 18 points and seven rebounds and Joey Graham scored 14 points for Toronto, which lost for the fourth time in its last six games.

Dallas took a 60-53 lead at the half but the Raptors pulled within one after an 8-2 run to start the second half. Dallas fired back with a 13-4 run to take control and extended its lead to 90-75 after three quarters.
