NBA: Cleveland 88, Atlanta 87

ATLANTA, March 2 (UPI) -- LeBron James drew a foul and sank a free throw with 1.6 seconds left Sunday night to help the Cleveland Cavaliers to an 88-87 win over Atlanta.

James -- who finished with 26 points and 11 assists -- had gone almost 15 minutes without a field goal when he drove the lane in the closing seconds and drew a foul from Al Horford. He made just one of two free throws, but it put the Cavs up by one and Joe Johnson was unable to connect on the possible game winning shot for the Hawks as time expired.

Johnson had 21 points and Marvin Williams had 14 points and 10 rebounds for the Hawks, who have lost four of their last five games.
