NHL: Tampa Bay 8, Calgary 6

TAMPA, Fla., March 1 (UPI) -- Vincent Lecavalier and Martin St. Louis each scored twice and Mark Recchi had five assists for Tampa Bay Sunday, leading the Lightning over Calgary 8-6.

A power-play goal by Lecavalier with 11:28 remaining turned out to be the winner in the high-scoring contest.

Evgeny Artyukhin, Steven Stamkos, Vaclav Prospal and Ryan Malone also scored for Tampa Bay.

Jarome Iginla posted two goals along with three assists for Calgary and Craig Conroy, Mike Camalleri, Jamie Lundmark and Todd Bertuzzi also scored for the Flames, who had won their previous four games.

Tampa Bay's Mike McKenna gave up all six Calgary goals but blocked 33 shots and got the win.

Flames starter Miikka Kiprusoff allowed five goals through two periods and Curtis McElhinney gave up two more. Kiprusoff finished with 14 saves and McElhinney had 10.
