
INDIANAPOLIS, March 1 (UPI) -- Jarrett Jack scored eight of his 28 points in the fourth period Sunday to rally the Indiana Pacers to a 100-94 victory against the Denver Nuggets.
When the final period started, Denver held a 75-68 advantage, but Jack scored eight points in the final 5:18, starting with a technical free throw.
Troy Murphy scored 22 (4-of-7 on 3-pointers) with 18 rebounds. Marquis Daniels had 19 points and six rebounds, while Roy Hibbert added 10 points and six rebounds for the Pacers, who have split their last four games.
Before Sunday, they had lost eight of their previous nine games with the Nuggets.
Chauncey Billups paced Denver with 27 points, seven assists and five rebounds. Carmelo Anthony scored 20 with eight rebounds, and Nene added 12 points and 10 rebounds for the Northwest Division-leading Nuggets, who also have split their last four contests.
