PLAYA DEL CARMEN, Mexico, March 1 (UPI) -- Mark Wilson shot a 2-under-par 68 Sunday to win the Mayakoba Golf Classic in Mexico, his second title on the PGA Tour.
Wilson finished at 13-under 267 for a two-shot margin over J.J. Henry, who also closed with a 68.
Kevin Streelman (64) and Heath Slocum (67) tied for third place, another stroke back at 270.
Wilson said he was "overwhelmed with the warmth" of the fans.
"They've been so nice. It was hard to get off the putting green from the closing ceremonies, and just signing autographs," Wilson said. "Everybody is really excited, and I vow to be a good champion for Mayakoba."
Wilson won $648,000.
