Na, Wilson tie for Mayakoba Classic lead

PLAYA DEL CARMEN, Mexico, Feb. 28 (UPI) -- Kevin Na shot an 8-under 62 and Mark Wilson carded a 64 Friday to share the second-round lead at the Mayakoba Golf Classic in Mexico.

Wilson and Na -- who set a 36-round record for the tournament -- go into the third round tied at 10-under 130, two strokes ahead of first-round leader Bo Van Pelt (69) and J.J. Henry (66).

This is just the third time in five tournaments this season that Wilson has made the cut. His two best finishes were 39th at Pebble Beach and 48th at the FBR Open.

Chris Riley (68) and Briny Baird (66) are tied for fifth at 7-under 133. U.S. Ryder Cup captain Corey Pavin (68), Cameron Beckman (69), James Nitties (66) and Scott Piercy (69) share seventh place at 5-under 135.
