Curtis Joseph was credited with 29 saves on 32 shots for the Maple Leafs, who have won a season-high four straight contests.
Ottawa got goals from Ryan Shannon and Jarkko Ruutu in the second and Daniel Alfredsson in the third.
Brian Elliott was beaten four times on 38 shots for the Senators, who fell to 1-2 in their season-long eight-game homestand.
