SACRAMENTO, Feb. 28 (UPI) -- Kevin Martin led six players in double figures with 20 points Friday night, boosting the Sacramento Kings to a 98-86 victory over the Los Angeles Clippers.
The Clippers were unable to build on their biggest win of the season, a two-point upset of Boston Wednesday.
Sacramento scored the last 10 points of the first period for a 27-18 lead and was not threatened the rest of the way.
Bobby Jackson had 18 and Andres Nocioni 17 for the Kings, who had lost their previous three games. It was the 13th victory of the season for Sacramento, tying the Kings with Oklahoma City for last place in that department.
