COL BKB: Wash. St. 51, Arizona St. 49 (OT)

PULLMAN, Wash., Feb. 28 (UPI) -- Taylor Rochestie sank a 3-pointer with two seconds left in overtime Saturday to give Washington State a 51-49 win over 11th-ranked Arizona State.

Rochestie made six of his nine points in the extra session for the Cougars (16-13, 8-9 Pac-10), who have an impressive three-game win streak. Klay Thompson led Washington State with 17 points and eight rebounds.

James Harden had 13 points, five assists and five rebounds for Arizona State (21-7, 10-6), which has lost two straight overtime contests following a five-game winning streak.

Regulation play ended in a 43-43 tie.

Harden fouled out with 3:26 to go in overtime, leaving Arizona State without its leading scorer.
