COL BKB: Duke 72, Virginia Tech 65

BLACKSBURG, Va., Feb. 28 (UPI) -- Seventh-ranked Duke used 21 points apiece from Kyle Singler and Gerald Henderson Saturday to post a 72-65 win over Virginia Tech.

Jon Scheyer added 16 points for the Blue Devils, (24-5, 10-4 ACC), who have won four in a row and moved within a game of fifth-ranked North Carolina in the battle for the Atlantic Coast Conference regular-season title.

A.D. Vassallo had 26 points and 10 rebounds for the Hokies (17-11, 7-7), who lost for the fourth time in their last five games. J.T. Thompson and Jeff Allen each added 13 points for Virginia Tech.
