
INDIANAPOLIS, Feb. 25 (UPI) -- Two free throws by T.J. Ford with 5 seconds remaining Wednesday wrapped up Indiana's 104-99 victory over Memphis.
Ford and Jarrett Jack both scored 20 points, allowing the Pacers to hold on after leading by as many as 13 points late in the third period.
Indiana has won four out of six, but remains stuck in last place in the Central Division.
Marquis Daniels added 14 points and Troy Murphy scored 13 to go with 12 rebounds.
It was the Grizzlies' sixth loss in a row. Marc Gasol led Memphis with 22 points and 15 rebounds, and O.J. Mayo had 21 points.
Jack hit 1-of-2 foul shots with 11.6 seconds left to give Indiana a three-point lead, after which the Grizzlies' Rudy Gay missed a 3-point try. Ford then put the game away with his two free throws.
