NHL: Ottawa 4, Carolina 2

OTTAWA, Feb. 24 (UPI) -- Mike Comrie scored the game-winning goal Tuesday in the Ottawa Senators' 4-2 victory over the Carolina Hurricanes.

Dany Heatley, Chris Kelly and Jason Spezza also scored for the Senators, who halted a three-game losing streak. Ottawa goalie Alex Auld blocked 41-of-43 shots to post his 12th win of the season.

Patrick Eaves and Anton Babchuk each scored for the Hurricanes.

Cam Ward, who took the loss, allowed three goals on Ottawa's first nine nine shots. Michael Leighton subbed over the final two periods and allowed one goal on 13 shots.
