COL BKB: Kansas 87, Oklahoma 78

NORMAN, Okla., Feb. 23 (UPI) -- Sherron Collins had 22 second-half points Monday when he and Tyshawn Taylor each totaled 26 in No. 15 Kansas' 87-78 win over No. 3 Oklahoma.

Kansas took sole possession of first place in the Big 12 with the victory over the Blake Griffin-less Sooners. Griffin was out because of a concussion suffered in Saturday's loss at Texas.

The Jayhawks forced 16 Oklahoma turnovers Monday night.

Cole Aldrich had 15 points and 20 rebounds for Kansas (23-5, 12-1 Big 12), which has won 12 of its last 13 games.

Willie Warren led the Sooners with 23 points, Juan Pattillo scored 15 and Cade Davis added 12 points for Oklahoma (25-3, 11-2 Big 12), which lost its first of 16 home games this season.
